RECIPE
CHILI CON CARNE
Ingredients:
8 servings
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 chopped onions
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 kg of non-fat meat
1 bottle of beer
2 X 400 g cans of chopped tomatoes
3 tablespoons tomato paste
2 chopped red chillies, or 3-4 tablespoons of ground chili
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 cinnamon stick
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cube of beef broth stock
2X 400g boxes of brown beans in Mexican style, washed and drained
1 green pepper
1 bunch coriander
Salt and ground black pepper
Slices of lime for serving
Preparation:
Heat half Heat the olive oil, fry the onion, garlic and green pepper, brown the meat, add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil and then lower the heat to half an hour. Serve in a deep bowl with a hot tortilla on the side.
