A delicious spicy fish stew that I recommend serving with some fresh challah that will soak up all the sauce and flavors. White rice will also go great. A great dish for sharing.
1 kg sliced locust fish or sea bass
2 large, chopped coriander bouquets
1 head chopped garlic
2 cups fresh or frozen fava beans
2 tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons turmeric
1 or 2 chopped chili peppers, depending on your taste
1/2 cup oil
1 cup water
Put half the amount of coriander in a flat pot. Place the fish slices on top of the coriander and cover with the remaining coriander. Add the beans and crushed garlic on top. Mix the spices, oil and water in a separate bowl and pour all the liquid over the fish and beans. Bring to a boil and continue to cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
